For all fair visitors, it will be essential to have the app downloaded and their ID on their cell phone upon entry. They can easily download it from the Play Store or Apple Store. Those who register during April and May will have the opportunity to participate in special raffles, the prizes of which will be awarded at exhibitor stands during their visit to the fair. They will also receive a free subscription to ASORA’s new Wood and Technology Digital Content Ecosystem, which will be officially launched at the fair.

“The mega industrial event of the year expects to receive 35,000 visitors from all over Argentina and neighboring countries,” says Nicolás De Gennaro, Executive Director of FITECMA.

FITECMA’s earned reputation for professionalism and legacy has enabled it to establish reciprocal agreements with the world’s leading trade fairs: IWF (Atlanta, USA); LIGNA (Hannover, Germany); XYLEXPO (Milan, Italy); FIMMA + MADERALIA (Valencia, Spain); EXPOBIOMASA (Valladolid, Spain); FIMMA (Bento Gonçalvez, Brazil); FORMÓBILE (São Paulo, Brazil); and EXPOCORMA (Bío Bío Region, Chile). Since its first edition, FITECMA has also been recognized by EUMABOIS, the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers, as South America’s leading wood and technology fair for European companies to showcase their stands.

Years of effort have made it possible for the next edition of FITECMA to enhance its international profile, both in terms of exhibitor presentations and represented brands. Companies and brands from Italy, Spain, France, Germany, the United States, China, Brazil, and Paraguay are already confirmed.

“The fluctuations in global trade and the new perspectives emerging in the country’s economy have sparked interest from international companies seeking to enter new markets. They see FITECMA as a prime opportunity to reach the sector with their products,” noted Nicolás De Gennaro, Executive Director of the fair.

From June 10 to 14, 2025, FITECMA and FIMAQH will unite at La Rural (Buenos Aires) to host the industrial mega event of the year, spanning 30,000 square meters and expecting over 30,000 visitors from across the country.

News

As the fair draws closer, companies that have already secured their stands are expressing optimism about the economic outlook for 2025 and the opportunities presented by the joint FITECMA and FIMAQH Mega Industrial Event at La Rural.

Nora Reznik, President of DORKING SA, shared that their company specializes in manufacturing nails, staples, and pneumatic tools for the wood industry. “We have been part of FITECMA since its first edition and were also sponsors. We fully trust FITECMA, an international fair representing the best in wood technology.”

Nicolás Scagliarini, from ENCHAPADORA SAN JUAN, emphasized, “We are delighted to participate in FITECMA once again. This event is a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and clients, and it opens doors in the industry.” He encouraged undecided companies to join, stating, “Go for it! It’s a unique platform to showcase your proposal and strengthen your presence in the market. Don’t miss the chance to get to know us.”

Echoing this enthusiasm, Carlos Anzardi of EUROHARD highlighted, “For us, FITECMA is the most important fair to showcase innovations, and we find the context highly favorable compared to previous years.” He added, “To those who have never participated, I assure you this is the place to be. There’s no doubt about that. It attracts a large audience, especially from the country’s interior, offering a great opportunity to engage with both current and potential clients.”

Making their debut this year, Cristian Demtschinski, Sales Executive of PINTURAS MISIONERAS, said, “It’s our first time participating in FITECMA, and we see it as a crucial opportunity due to the fair’s national and international relevance. That’s why we aim to position our flagship brand, Full Paint, which offers an exclusive line for the furniture and wood sectors, tailored to the aggressive environment in our region.”

News

We’re hard at work on the fair’s app and have finalized the accommodation platform for long-distance visitors. Additionally, a variety of activities and training sessions in the FITECMA auditorium are in preparation.

Visitors traveling domestically or internationally can explore specially arranged accommodations for the expo through the Booking Congress platform. The link is available at www.fitecma.com.ar/visitantes. This service allows you to select hotels and lodging near the event, compare services and categories with ease, and access exclusive rates.

Booking Congress recommends searching early to secure prime locations, as June is a highly demanded period in Buenos Aires.

Another key service for visitors will be the FITECMA app, available for download from Play Store or Apple Store starting in April. The app will be essential for accreditation, a requirement for entry to the fair, and will provide a map, exhibitor lists, digital catalogs, and up-to-date information on the event’s activities.

Training will play a significant role in the fair’s activity program. In line with the world’s top fairs, visitors will not only gain access to the best commercial offerings in wood technology and products but will also optimize their visit by attending seminars and talks from leading specialists on topics and trends that can enhance their business or industry. Detailed information on the program will be shared soon.

News

FITECMA has set a new record, selling out all its exhibition space five months ahead of the event, a milestone not seen in the last 10 editions.

“In January, contracts were finalized with companies taking the last available spaces,” said Nicolás De Gennaro, the event’s executive director. This prompted the FITECMA 2025 Organizing Committee to open a special area to accommodate stand expansions and excess market demand—both scenarios accounted for in the fair’s commercial planning.

“The newly enabled sector offers over 200 square meters, with lots starting at 9 square meters. While we could have declared a sold-out event, we’re determined not to exclude anyone interested in participating,” explained De Gennaro. He added, “Historically, there’s a segment of companies that wait until the year begins to decide on their investment in FITECMA. That’s why our strategy included creating a special area to address this reality.”

However, De Gennaro cautioned that those interested should check space availability as soon as possible, noting that half of the new area has already been reserved and could fill up quickly.

The 16th International Fair of Wood & Technology (FITECMA 2025) now boasts over 100 confirmed exhibitors and 350 represented brands spanning all key sectors of the wood industry value chain.

News

With over 15 companies from various sectors exhibiting for the first time, the upcoming edition of the fair expands its traditional exhibitor base to showcase the latest offerings in the market.

These include Formaco Srl alongside Itipack from Italy, Pinturas Misioneras, and Talleres Banfield, suppliers of industrial production materials; Sipcor, Aserradero Los Cipreses, and Maderas Bella Unión, focusing on wood-based construction products; Multisolar, EHW, La Meccanica from Italy, and Proholz Ingeniería, specializing in bioenergy equipment; and Taller Nafta y Fuego, Minelli Máquinas, Industrias Guerra Sa, and Inglamiaux SRL, providing machinery, tools, and equipment for forestry industries, furniture manufacturing, and carpentry.

The FITECMA Organizing Committee has emphasized that the upcoming edition will reflect market shifts, welcoming new players eager to lead the sector with innovative products and services, embracing a strong digital focus while presenting a fresh vision for business.

“We’re looking at new exhibitors who make up nearly a quarter of the total, highlighting the significant changes underway in the national market,” stated Nicolás De Gennaro, executive director of the fair. He further noted, “This phenomenon spans all sectors. It’s also worth mentioning the return of a dozen companies as exhibitors, all featuring portfolios of cutting-edge products.”

Additionally, this edition strengthens FITECMA’s international profile, with companies and brands from Italy, Spain, France, Germany, the United States, China, Brazil, and Paraguay already confirmed to participate.

FITECMA will once again serve as the key business hub for sector players, providing solutions for productivity demands, aligning with circular economy standards, and meeting consumer expectations for quality across all market segments.

News

With less than five months to go, ASORA and CARMAHE, the organizers of FITECMA and FIMAQH, have jointly launched the visitor campaign for what will be Argentina’s “Mega Industrial Event of 2025.”

The International Fair of Wood & Technology (FITECMA) and the International Fair of Machine Tools and Production Technologies (FIMAQH) will take place from June 10 to 14 at La Rural Exhibition Center in Buenos Aires.

“FITECMA – FIMAQH is more than just the union of two successful and valued fairs in their respective sectors at the same time and place. It’s a strategic alliance that creates synergy and amplifies benefits for exhibiting companies. We are confident it will do the same for visitors, as the overlapping offerings of both fairs will provide manufacturers and professionals with plenty of opportunities to explore,” said ASORA President Osvaldo Kovalchuk.

Kovalchuk added, “Given the extensive services, parallel activities, the state-of-the-art infrastructure of the venue, and the sheer scale of exhibitors and brands present, there is no doubt that FITECMA – FIMAQH will be the Mega Industrial Event of the year.”

Visitor services will be a key highlight of FITECMA – FIMAQH. The organizing committees of both fairs are developing a new app to streamline accreditation, fair access, the digital catalog of exhibitors and products, and a newsroom for updates and information on parallel activities throughout the five-day event.

The app will launch in April and be announced via the fairs’ digital channels (website, social media, and email). It will be available for download on Play Store and Apple Store. Accreditation will be a mandatory requirement for entry.

“For visitors traveling from other parts of the country or abroad, FITECMA has partnered with Booking Congress to provide specially arranged accommodation options for the expo,” added FITECMA’s executive director Nicolás De Gennaro. The link, available at www.fitecma.com.ar/alojamiento, allows users to select hotels and nearby lodging options with exclusive rates and quickly compare services and categories. Booking Congress recommends searching early to secure the best locations, as June is a busy season in Buenos Aires.

Like the world’s leading fairs, FITECMA – FIMAQH will offer visitors access to the best commercial options in technology and products, along with a suite of services to optimize their experience and a training program led by experts on relevant trends to enhance their business or industry.

News

As announced in February’s FITECMA News, high demand from exhibitors led the Organizing Committee to make a new adjustment in one of the areas originally designated for institutional stands.

This change allowed for the creation of 12 new stands, 10 of which were immediately reserved. “Companies that have yet to decide on their participation have two options left, as there are no more changes planned for the layout,” said Nicolás De Gennaro.

As per this adjustment, the fair will now feature a new area next to the accreditation booth, dedicated to stands for institutions and sector entities. It will also showcase furniture in what is now called the Argentine Furniture Lab, promoted by FAIMA, as well as the stand for ASORA’s new digital project, set to debut at FITECMA.
