FITECMA 2027 Has Already Sold 91% of Its Available Exhibition Space

FITECMA 2027 Surpasses 2025 Exhibition Space Eight Months Ahead of Opening

With eight months still to go before the event, the 17th edition of the International Wood & Technology Fair (FITECMA 2027) has already exceeded the total exhibition space occupied during the 2025 edition.

“We are delighted to share this news, which fills us with pride,” said FITECMA Executive Director Nicolás De Gennaro. “Only 474 square meters of exhibition space remain available for sale. Once again, this result reflects the tremendous interest and confidence that the wood and technology industry places in FITECMA.”

Following the last edition, which set a record for specialized visitors from across Argentina and the region, FITECMA is on track to break all previous attendance and participation records when it returns to La Rural Exhibition Center in Buenos Aires from June 8 to 12, 2027.

The strong response from exhibitors points to a landmark edition, featuring broad and representative participation from companies, brands, and products spanning the entire value chain of the wood industry.

According to De Gennaro, “Very few spaces remain available. Companies that are still considering participation should secure their place now and become part of what promises to be an unforgettable edition.” The organizing committee hopes to hang the “Sold Out” sign before the end of the year.

Construction and Biomass Sectors Retain Special Benefits

Alongside its clear business focus, FITECMA has always maintained a strong commitment to supporting the development of the entire wood industry value chain.

In line with this mission, ASORA, the event organizer, will once again offer special participation conditions for companies operating in two strategic sectors that are essential for expanding wood-related business opportunities in Argentina: construction and biomass.

“Reserving exhibition space for these sectors represents a financial effort and carries a certain risk,” explained Osvaldo Kovalchuk, President of ASORA. “However, we made this decision consciously as a tangible contribution from our Association, encouraging every segment of the wood value chain to join the industry’s leading business hub and help drive the development of Argentina’s wood sector.”

Both sectors will have dedicated exhibition areas within FITECMA 2027 and will continue to benefit from an extended period of promotional pricing for booth reservations.

“Special discounts remain in effect, reaching up to 18%,” noted De Gennaro.

A Fair in Motion

Under the slogan “More Wood. More Future.”, FITECMA 2027 will once again provide a professional environment where the enhanced value of wood throughout every stage of the industrial process takes center stage.

The theme chosen for the upcoming edition conveys a powerful message: wood and the future are inseparable, reminding us that a sustainable future is unthinkable without protecting nature and its resources.

“More Wood. More Future.” is FITECMA 2027’s invitation for companies to innovate in technologies, materials, and components that preserve wood, highlight its warmth and natural qualities, and reinforce its role as the material of the 21st century.

As it has done for more than three decades, FITECMA 2027 will once again serve as the principal meeting point for the entire wood industry value chain.

Maintaining the interest of a highly specialized audience remains a key challenge for the organizers. To that end, preparations are already underway for a new accreditation system designed to streamline visitor registration and entry.

A comprehensive education and training program is also being developed, building on the success of the previous edition, which attracted nearly 800 attendees to its learning activities.

In addition, visitors will be able to explore a dedicated innovation area focused on wood-related technologies and applications, bringing together leading institutions and organizations from across the sector.
